Heather Schmidt Bresnahan for Judge 2025

Heather won the primary election and is grateful that the Democratic primary voters in Allegheny County supported her as one of the 8 Democratic Party nominees for the General Election on November 4. Heather continues to work hard every day to earn the votes of the General Election voters in every part of our County.

Tough, Humble, & Rooted

My story begins with my father, a proud Pittsburgh artist. He brought life to the Iron City Beer cans, even creating the iconic 'We Are Family' design during the Pirates' 1979 World Series win. He taught me what it means to be tough, humble, and rooted in our community.

Experienced

Three decades of professional experience, from clerking for the Deputy District Attorney to building her own successful family law practice.

Community Service

Serves as a Hearing Officer with the Allegheny County Retirement Board and volunteers with Neighborhood Legal Services.
